DEBES is an Eritrean language/term that refers to the material or cash tribute as well as moral consolation given to members of deceased household by relatives & other members of the community.
Debes is providing critical support to king county emerging communities, and we are in a mission so that no one is left standing alone during the challenging times. Thus, we are consistently engaged with the communities and initiated novel projects to support the mission. This includes,
- Community connectedness
- Tackling digital illiteracy/access to technology
- Health education/Tackling Covid
- Connect to resources (employment, education…)

ዕላማ ማሕበር ኣቐዲምካ ካብ ኣባላት ማሕበር ገንዘብ ኣኪብካ ብምጽናሕ፡ ሞት ኣባል ምስዘጋጥመና ብዘይ ወዓል ሕደር፡ ንናይ መዋቲ መደብሲ ዝኸውን ወጻኢታት ንምቅላል ቕሩባት ኮይንካ ምጽናሕ እዩ።

- Complete and sign the membership application form.
- Submit the signed membership application to your local Debes representative.
- Local Debes representative will issue you a receipt.
