ዕላማ ማሕበር ኣቐዲምካ ካብ ኣባላት ማሕበር ገንዘብ ኣኪብካ ብምጽናሕ፡ ሞት ኣባል ምስዘጋጥመና ብዘይ ወዓል ሕደር፡ ንናይ መዋቲ መደብሲ ዝኸውን ወጻኢታት ንምቅላል ቕሩባት ኮይንካ ምጽናሕ እዩ።
DEBES is a word [term] that embodies a rich Eritrean tradition of collective financial and emotional support, when one loses a loved one, as well as during the mourning [Hazen] period. Eritreans all over the world are working very hard to maintain this proud tradition. The Eritreans in the Seattle, WA Area have come together to form, Eritrean Debes Association.
The objective of Eritrean Debes Association is to collect funds from its members ahead of time in order to provide financial help with burial expenses to its registered members and/or their beneficiaries, when a member passes away.

Membership Registration by check or cash. Download Membership Application Form.pdf Complete and sign the membership application form. Submit the signed membership application to your local Debes representative. Local Debes representative will issue you a receipt.
