As part of our mission to help facilitate safe, humane and dignified migration, U.S. Refugee Admissions Program assist refugees through multiple stages of the resettlement process from their departure country until their arrival at one of our ports of entry in the US. We currently have a presence at airports in Chicago, Washington, New York, Houston and Los Angeles, and are planning to begin operations in Seattle and Atlanta early next year. At these designated US ports of entry, our staff meet the refugees to provide support through the federal immigration and inspection processes. Once those steps are completed, our staff ensure the refugees reach their final destination whether via connecting flight, ground transportation or transfer to a resettlement agency or relative.
We are urgently recruiting qualified candidates to fill 10 new vacancies at SEA, which are posted here: https://usrap.iom.int/careers. Note that these positions require US citizenship or lawful permanent residence.
I have attached a factsheet to learn more about our ports of entry operations, and our website (https://usrap.iom.int/) also contains additional information about the broader US Refugee Admissions Program.
